Why Am I Here On Poetrysoup You Ask

Why am I here on Poetrysoup you ask?  

A cousin and wonderful friend introduced me to Poetrysoup , she is now passed and my angel. Her excitement of how gracious everyone was, with a heart of outpouring enthusiasm of the website and her love for writing.  She wrote telling me of Vera Dugan the friend she had made, Arthur Vaso and his creativity, and can not forget Demetrios Trifiatis and his love of poetry and photos. I too have become close and admire all of them.

I found a new medium to work with because of her excitement of the website and her love for writing.  She would call and asked for my opinion when she created a new piece or she would ask what I thought. I have a love for creating and respect those that have the talent to do so.

Oh Eve how lovely of you to write about our dear Lucilla, she was one of the best and such a lovely and dear friend, we miss her very much but I am sure she is looking down on us and guiding us through life and she has given me someone I can talk to (Her cousin), you are both two amazing women and it is lovely to have you in my life.........Take care my dear..........Vera

OH!!! I thought you were write about Lucilla. Oh....I didn't know you were related. I wrote a poem in her honor when she passed. Oh Eve....I loved Lucilla. She was always very good to me. This is a very good poem that you have written about when you are here. There will always be wars and misunderstandings. The ones who truly love you....will come back to you....in time. If not....then, be true to yourself and concentrate on those who truly love you. XOXO

Every time I see a rose I think of Lucilla as it was her avatar. Recently I have asked myself the very question 'why am I here on Poetry soup? lol - I love my new found creativity that is what keeps me her and some wonderful friends I have made on the site, other aspects of it are not so good:-( Good luck in the contest - hope you will write a limerick for me:-) hugs Jan xx 7

Yes, Ruben, she was a cousin on my dad side. I am very confused :-( I placed her name at the very bottom of the page with the name of her book and it is gone! Is that against the law too? I'm learning :-(

Lucy was family but she was more a friend. Her heart just couldn't take it anymore she fought it to the very end. First a three way bypass with congestive heart failure then a year later a pacemaker defibrillator a month before she died. Need to think of good thoughts reading some of these blogs and poems have made me very teary. Merry Christmas with blessing of love, wisdom, happiness, and wealth and have fun with your son and hubby!!!
