Who stole my muse

Who stole my muse? Did a stranger come at night as I slept? Did the oscillating weather changing the warm to cold, freeze my budding words to write? Did the daily stress pile up like dirty laundry, blocking the beauty that I usually see? Or did my muse just take a vacation, to some place that I would rather be? Heidi Sands 3/21/24 (C)opyright

Perhaps these lines will spark yonder Muse to return home, Heidi. Sure hope so. Faith and Strength, Gershon

Sometimes I do wonder where my muse has been. The only consolation is that it returns to me stronger than before.

I enjoyed reading this fun "Muse"  write. Yes, a muse can go on vacation wanting some time off. It can also get stressed out & not like to write. How do I know you ask??? Because mine goes on vacation from time to time. It also gets stressed out/will not write. This write looks like your muse is OK.... Have blessed day writing away............

Dear Heidi, Your poem captures the frustration and mystery of losing inspiration. I liked the imagery of a stolen muse, which relates to anyone who has felt creatively blocked. I loved how your words evoke the struggle of balancing life's demands with the longing for artistic expression. It's a thoughtful reflection on the fleeting nature of creativity and the quest to reclaim it. I have been there many times! - Blessings, Daniel

True. Many things can stop our muse and when things combine it is very difficult. Thank you for your understanding comment. I hope you have a nice day :) hugs

I agree with Vijay ... "Your muse is shining on your page", Heidi ... you have nothing to worry about ... - A holiday in a warm place ... could tempt me :) - hugs

Thanks. It has been difficult to write about anything, so I wrote about this. Yes. A warm place is certainly tempting. More snow coming on the weekend. I appreciate your comment ! Hugs :)

Your muse is shining on your page, my friend. I like how you described its whereabouts--in splendid metaphors: freeze my budding words--piled up laundry--vacationing-- You made the point brilliantly, Heidi.
