Who are we at our core poetry contest by Unseeking Seeker

Line of enquiry: "We look for that that does not come and go it cannot be organic form, subject to decay thoughts and beliefs are fickle, how little we know yet come what may, our inner child continues to play."
Souls search for the eternal, silently casting their gaze, pondering about what remains untouched by fading days. What are we but primitive forms, easily led astray. Upon a quest for the timeless that will forever stay. Thoughts and beliefs are fragile like whispers in the wind. Volatile and flowing in a dance that can easily rescind. How little some know about their inner cosmic aspect, yet onward we journey, undeterred by the prospect. In the theatre of life our inner child takes the stage. A playful spirit immune to the true wisdom of age. Through tribulations and triumphs our characters change. Laughing in innocence, youth cares not how the storms engage. We are mere guests to travellers we meet on the highway, each one with a lesson but most never really stay. Our spirits flourish when we search for sincere meaning, so if we do not question, then life can be demeaning. For in seeking the eternal in a world of ebb and flow, we find comfort in the constant, where inner treasures grow, so, let my heart ignite in intimate fields where dreams remain. To embrace tomorrow, regardless to what hopes we attain.

Wow... wow, I see the wisdom of Socrates and the righteousness and logic of Plato. I am sure this is exactly the type of poem Unseeking Seeker is looking for. I must say that you have outrun his expectations. Without looking for the perennial, how we all run after the trivialities of the physical world which all will vanish like bubbles! This is one of my most favorite of your poems and I have FAVED it.

To experience connections is to experience our connection to everything. But in strange colors, a little here a mystery there yet to be seen but braved through childlike animalistic and primal bravery. Curiousity mixes with thunder and lightnings of wondrous possibility, undertakings it's half-life to reveal a washing clean in the rains due of eternity. Exorcising an experiencing. A spirit of the necessary hope of being. Is what this paints to me. And it is deeply lovely.

So much ambiguity in these lines ... in a good way. Yes, who really are we? Who am I? Let's embrace tomorrow together, arm in arm. Okay, not arm in arm but side by side anyway

None of your lines are ambiguous in any way. We do change after undergoing trials, and so does our level of wisdom through each experience. You've expressed your beliefs in a detailed analysis that can only come from the core of your being.

Dear Silent one , these are definitely rhymes of a philosopher so well articulated and presented. And depicts positivity amidst lifes ebb and flow, it gives and enhances I think the line of enquiry very eloquently! I absolutely love the way you’ve written “ Thoughts and beliefs are fragile like whispers in the wind. Volatile and flowing in a dance that can easily rescind“ couldnt have said it any better! How true is that, it is important for us to control our thoughts, as thoughts often become
