I am, somewhat surprisingly (to me, anyway) beginning a series of poetry-written-when-I-hear-the-geese-throughout-my-day.

I watched the Sun convince the Sky to forget the Moon. Songbirds sang. Songbirds called. A woodpecker made dull sounds from an interesting tree. A rooster crowed. The geese flew overhead beneath an unseen Moon. The Sky forgot. The sun confused. And I Remembered.
