Listen to poem:
Oh hello again darkness been a while
so which memory shall we reminisce this time
or is it that moment to reach for glass
no doubt you have that mirror for me?
Were you latching onto the wind from someone else's misery?
Forever laughing at the ones in need
and you're still not satisfied?
Alright I'll accept, come at me with all your might.
Already know it will be left disappointed on both sides
wanting the same thing however
what is it that you like about my shoulder
you try your damnedest to block out the light?
I know I exist you're just a fragment of the mind, space and time
Your wanting of others continuous circles
preying on those fears ones try to hide
reached the moment of being fully open
young eyes get a free pardon.
Adults burden at the feet holding one self high
...acceptance
Passed on questioning past
time to question the room we all find ourselves in.
No more unnecessary distractions
finally moving in a sane direction
"runaway darkness"
Give it another try
another time.
