While Waiting For the Return of Christ
While waiting for Christ’s return, we should be spiritually awake
As His children saved from fire’s lake.
Let us abide in Him; His truth we must not forsake
Fully aware that He never makes any mistake!
While waiting for Christ’s return, we should trust His direction
As His students taught by His instruction.
Let us obey Him; His love must be our right motivation
Fully assured of His grace and compassion!
While waiting for Christ’s return, we should be His faithful stewards
As His stewards with His promised blessings and rewards.
Let us labor for Him; His precepts must be our standards
Fully protected by His mighty safeguards!
While waiting for Christ’s return*, we should do His will with humility
Fully convinced of His presence-certainty!
*Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
