Inky, congrats to you and SO for your POTD honors overflowing with images that leave their signatures on the soul - "black tourmaline nights," "jade jewels," "tides of topaz" and so many other beautifully crafted lines that are summed up in your last line as you close the door and walk away from pain. I saw a blog with a lot of hoopla about POTD's or something. Was it this one? I see lots of trophies given to people who really contribute nothing (except for posting up poems), but I guess that's how they like it!! Congrats, John, for POTD

I would have no shelf space if trophies were the kind words of supportive poets and prospective friends on here. Surely there is only the joy of the opportunity to garland someone else and lift them up. I like this. Shortest POTD ever I suspect :))
