Where's My Keepsake

WHERE'S MY KEEPSAKE? Nothing can we take with us when we die, No, not a coin or keepsake ~ What are we fighting for? 04/06/17
{Note: The 'fight' here refers to the unnecessary tussle over 'property'}

We all have egos and pride and sometimes they work to our detriment, especially when we're young.. Well done. Emile.

So true. And congratulations. Too many focus on pointless worldly things.

We can never take it with us, but it's the loved ones we leave behind that have to struggle on. Well done!

Message is very clear and so true Jo. You can be buried with your treasures like King Tut....but I think it is so much better to share with those in need. The King's treasures are being enjoyed by so many now. Wonder how he would feel about that! Material wealth is not worth fighting for. I wholeheartedly agree. 7 ; )

I second what Chris said below. This is spot on and beautifully penned. I don't know what a kimo is (nor do I have the thumb strength to ask google) but I suspect you more than did the form justice here.

Very nicely done Jo. To me, life has nothing to do with what I can take with me, but, what I can leave behind. And for you, it is your beautiful poetry that you leave for all of us to find. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing this with all of us.
