Where Do Squirrels Go To Die
Where do squirrels go to die
They seem to just disappear
Funny how it sometimes feels
that way with people
They are just gone from our lives
Everything is replaceable
in some ways
Not those we love
Things are never quite the same
We are left to fill the void
and make sense of things
we can’t understand
Perhaps we will, someday
