Where are we headed Where do we go The snake is two headed It’s bite is close In the garden of eve Will we persevere Is this maroon mystery drenched in black fear Or do we get it wrong Thinking too much Is all really predestined After the apple touched Lips longing for fruit Forbidden or not Who says you are a fool I cannot only God We think we are smart flying silver drones on Mars We explore stars And ignore inner hearts Where are we headed When we can pollute our earth Ignoring the aftermath dreaded Raping the environment like jerks Do we think we can Outsmart Mother Nature Come up with a plan For when we have to face her?
