When You Are Old

When you are old and your bones are cold as you sit beside the fire. While your eyes blink or sleepily wink in the early evening hour. So, near to dreams that vision streams and your past comes flooding back To when we were young and full of fun With the love, we never lack. Through fires haze, peer at the blaze try your best to see my face. If it you cannot see, then think back to me and gaze far out in space With a tear in your eye, in the evening sky in the stars, you will find my embrace. This shall be your tie to me for entreaty; Forever together and forever always.
