When Tofu's the Go

I read a recipe for tofu that some eat,
with comments saying that it can’t be beat.
So I will begin -
throw it in the bin,
and grill yourself a nice piece of meat.

Ha ha I so agree that it will be a piece of meat for me. Tofu can go in the garbage can for sure. Had me chuckling because they are trying to get us to try this veggie burger instead of meat burger in our fast food places. love phyl

Hello Phyllis … I reckon there's a lot more research to go into meat replacement. It's the taste where they fail. Tofu might be okay in a salad with heaps of dressing but that's it for me - thank you Phyllis - Lindsay

Kimchi! Oh dear. I can barely eat a spoonful of it. Something that needs an acquired taste and I haven't got it. Perhaps mixed with tofu it might be okay - thanks Andrea - Lindsay

These soybean products never used to be on my menu, Lindsay, but i have tried them out since cholesterol alerted me to the negative side of red meat. An enjoyable limerick with a good dose of humour. ~ Regards // paul
