When the war is over
When the war is over
I want the adrenaline to stop
I want my heart to stop pounding
I want to stop feeling endangered
When the war is over
I want to forget I had enemies
I do not want to make them into friends
But I want to not hold grudges or go for revenge
When the war is over
I want to go home and be the person I used to be
Before I saw my brothers and sisters lying dead on the battle field
Which is impossible, but I still want it.
