When summer is gone
How I wish Summer shrinks to Fall for good,
Yet wonder, if at all it would.
Let all the good and magic happen at its peak,
In my land, summer ends and ends monsoon magic.
I wish, July’s deleted from the year,
And a Janus Face returns in top gear.
Ends summer, ends my painful history,
And there begins my life’s story.
Ends summer and I pack up all my pain,
Pack all troubles to live again.
I wonder why we call a month August,
It renders trust that summer’s due to bust.
In summer, I feel like taking off flesh and sit bare in my bones,
And wear it back when summer is gone.
Only when summer ends in all its whole,
I get to restore my old soul,
Or else, I wish life of butterflies-- of three days,
Only when summer ends, back to old ways.
