~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Was the cow upset, when God rested His head in her manger? Was the donkey insulted, when God lay in the straw she’d been fed, the hay – His first bed? Was the lamb feeling slighted, when God silenced the star’s thoughts, blessing the birth of His grace? Was the past put out, when God whispered light, across the souls of those – who met the holy child that night? Was the darkness afraid, when God breathed His love through the stillness from above? Was there a chance, that someone knew – and danced, because peace had come down to us – When this child was born? Was the heart offended, by the shadows of His healing, when He honored us with His presence, His first gift to those who met Him. His first gift, the soul’s best blessing! To this world, a child was born, the One who made us, the One who gave us… faith and hope, joy and peace, the gentle love of a Christmas when our souls were made complete! Thanks to God for His gift of love – thanks to Him for peace on earth. thanks to Him for sending the Son, Who would make a way for everyone!
