When Life Walks Me Beneath a Cloud

Though I cannot make time stand still My memories are mine to hold As long as I’m of my own mind They will live on in stories told Though fleeting and of precious care Depictions of a life well spent In thoughts, I keep as I well know That time is only ours to rent And as I walk in gratitude And think my memories aloud These sweet reminders I embrace When life walks me beneath a cloud

'That time is only ours to rent' -- classic line there, Mike. Perfectly penned. Kudos, Gershon

Very nicely said, positive and inspiring. In my world, good, wholesome memories, are first planted on earth, and what we take with us when leaving...a win win for self and humanity.
