When I'M Alone
When I'm alone, I go my way,
Through less tread paths, I love to stray,
Sometimes, I reach gardens of grace,
Sometimes, new sand castles I trace,
When I'm alone, I sit and read,
Through lands unknown, I soar indeed,
Sometimes, up mystery mounts I trail,
Sometimes, 'cross sea of love I sail,
When I'm alone, I think and write,
Through maze of words, I take my flight,
Sometimes, poems of hope take shape,
Sometimes, I write on naturescape,
When I'm alone, I chat with God,
Through prayer, I phone my secrets odd,
Sometimes, it's sorrows, tears and sighs,
Sometimes, it's good old joys and highs,
When I'm alone, going my way,
Through ups and downs, there shines a ray,
The ray of faith - God's by my side,
He is my stay, my hope and guide.
