When I Close My Eyes Baby When I close my eyes baby, your soft voice sends me on my way When I close my eyes baby, in your love dreams I begin to pray. Thank you Charlie. Yes, in many ways the 70's were good but my wild ways brought me much misery and losses. Scales were pretty much balanced out due to my youthful bravado, immense desires to fulfill each new fantasy in regards to love and beautiful women.. Never was greater applied, -the old -- "live and learn" adage, methinks.

Thank you my friend. My sonnets are my first love in poetry. I feel so at ease when composing them. Other poetry forms, I very oft have not the that ease nor that quick and fluid flow coming to my old and tired pen. This one was written in my youth. And I presented it as was first composed, with no edits. Only thing new is the new note I added to this poem after editing out the very personal old one..
