As I Get Older
As I get older, there will come a time when life will no longer be so appealing. My outlook will change, and I will welcome Death as a friend and breathe a grateful sigh of relief when He visits me. In His wisdom, God has decreed that every living thing must die so life may renew, and I'm no exception. Until that time arrives, however, I intend to enjoy the gift of life to its fullest. I will open my eyes to the beauty of the Earth, listen to Her music, and feel Her caresses as She nurtures my mortal body from infancy to Death, preparing me for eternal life beyond. And I will open my heart and assist other travelers sharing this magical journey through life with me.
