when magic greets my heart
and finds its way
inward to my soul
I can’t explain it
subtle it is not
more of a cosmic lightning bolt
releasing not
the sound of thunder
but more
the outburst of a sigh
when magic reaches in
to play the chords of my soul
I sigh a melody in tune
of love and beauty
gratitude and marvel
needing to be shared
with the vastness
of the world
