What will ye do

With ways so slippery, what will ye do? Dreaming dreams so dreary, what will ye do? Two souls in love may not always marry, With eyes e’er so teary, what will ye do? To cross a river you need a ferry, Ocean's no less worry, what will ye do? If one life’s journey makes ye so wary, Born, reborn, so weary, what will ye do? It sounds fine— pursuit of unknown glory, Yet, with life so sorry, what will ye do? _________________________________________ Ghazal |03.12. 2023| life Inspired by a Ghazal in Gujarati by Surendra Kadiya, but far from its translation.
