it was an early april morning
the lure of nature called to me
the sun was out
the air was fresh
the road just beckoned me
faithful dog by my side
i grabbed my coat
and headed out the door
soon we were on our way
to claim a most idyllic adventure
serenity it seemed would tag along
and join us for not more than a song
