What They Did To You
What have they done to You, Man on the cross
Seeing You here means we’ve suffered great loss
But I cannot climb up and set You free
What they did to You has been done to me
They once applauded wisdom of Your words
It seemed You were followed by many herds
Where are those who once bowed on bended knee
What they did to You has been done to me
My tears flow knowing there’s naught I can do
Powerless I stand, keeping faith in You
Hoping that Your Father will hear my plea
What they did to You has been done to me
