What the Eye Sees the Heart Cannot Forget
I must go dear love, with deep regret
Your love I'll treasure, I'll not forget
A kiss goodbye in a world on fire
Such times not forgotten of love's desire
When I leave I'll bury my heart
and forget this moment that I depart
Death and war will stalk me every day
A moment remembered can make it stay
So I must forget you stay and wait
With yesterday's dreams that stimulate
In darkest night your tears you'll hold
The pain I carry must be controlled
So forget me not, one day you'll turn
Until a time I will return
And I'll be there to hold you tight
To never kill again, to make it right
A moment captured by a trembling heart
We'll cry together and will never part
