What Is My Purpose In Life

Why I am here? What’s my purpose? I’m still seeking that answer, however I am convinced that our purpose as humans is to treat others how we want to be treated, not how they treat you. If my actions is based on how you treat me that means you have to do something. But if I treat you how I want to be treated that’s all me. It’s a personal choice and decision. We all want to be loved, we all want to be respected and we want to be shown kindness. So in my opinion ones purpose in life is to treat others in a manner that is rooted in love, respect and kindness. It’s likened to a universal purpose for mankind. Do we all have individual purpose’s in life? I think we do, but it may take a lifetime to find out what it is. *Inspired By The Purpose Contest 01/17/2022

I truly believe that God has His own where He wants them. It is then up to us to do what He would want us to do. We all make mistakes but if we face those mistakes, confess and turn around then He will still use us to do His will for our lives. I enjoyed reading this work of yours today and I know that you are writing because He has a purpose for what you say. Thanks for your visit to my page. Sara

My purpose in life is to make my family happy, if they are, I am, and to always acknowledge my love to and for God. Also to always be poetically reciprocal with all my friends. hugs to you dear Alexis, Jennifer.

Hi Alexis, I am reminded of Matt. 7:12 (NASB). This being the Golden Rule.. "In EVERYTHING, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets." I made the word "everything" bigger, because that means in all things. Your words hold so much truth. You have such a wonderful heart, my dear sweet friend. Many wonderful blessings to you. :) Hugs, Brandy

Your lovely poem is deep and meaningful, Alexis. I think understanding of one's purpose does come gradually, as your poem states. It sometimes takes many years of living for understanding to dawn. Thank you for sharing this gem. Blessings, Evelyn
