What Is It About Me

What is it about me? That appeals to others, Gives them hope, And makes them want to help me succeed. I know my tongue can be harsh sometimes, My recall of names is shocking, Although I seldom forget phone numbers. I know when good food can be found, I am seldom last in line, And my sense of humour , Is not everybody's cup of tea, And I am sure I try the patience of even the saints. Yet despite these things, Luck still comes my way, How does one figure something like that?

Thanks Lewis. Glad to see you are still hanging in there with everything that is happening your side of ditch. My retirement or semi-retirement came at right time for us. I feel for those who have been conned into working til they drop. I find plenty to do and putting back into community. Also have lots of time to spend with grandson and there is plenty to complain about through democratic process which few use nowadays. If I was stuck in one bedroom flat I might feel different. We have decent back yard. All the best David

Thanks for that. I do try to resisist the negative comments as much as possible. Lately I have been giving out poems on facebook for Birthdays etc and I often have poems on me to give out. Response is always good. may your life stay stress free David in NZ
