as the morn opens its door to what is in store for this day, creek rise and hazy skies say, what a glorious way to greet this spring day, a brand new beginning to be grateful; thank God for life, love, laughter, family; and praise Him for the huge lemon daylilies' blooms fern leaf fennel as its gold blossoms open to reveal their beauty thank Him for the burnt rust ones as well, thank You God for sunshine and rain that encourages their quick growth thank you God

Yes, I think poetry can be a testimony as can be singing and scripture reading and interpretation. Thanks for the kind words, John. I appreciate the visit. Sara K

Thanks, James, for wishing me a wonderful summer. The heat and humidity get me down in my old age, so it is nice to have those thoughts sent my way. Sara K

Hi Sara, you forgot to thank him for the most important thing, your words. This is an excellent poem and if it is for the etheree contest I think it should do well. You paint your canvas with words of beauty and faith in this wonderful world. I say, "Praise him for giving us you." Your friend always ..... Mike. XXX

Dear Sara, Ahhh, a beautiful sunrise, full of gratitude, faith, and the quiet beauty of spring’s unfolding. I love how you notice the daylilies, the fennel, the rain and sun, together into a prayer of thanks. I love your joy in life’s simple, sacred gifts. Spring Blessings, My Dear Sara, Daniel
