What If the Sun Was Pink
What if the sun was pink for a week and a day?
Would we all take selfies with it?
Would we run to the nursing home and tear open their shutters?
Would we paint it pink in landscapes?
Would we adore it and wear our pink stuff and dance with it?
Would we dream it pink for another week?
Would we thank God for it, and appreciate it?
Would we talk about it in Sunday school?
Would we bake sun cookies and paint them with pink frosting?
Would we make up songs about it?
Would we look up this poem and smile?
Or would we panic?
