What I Want From My Government-I
The role of government is mainly for
creating rules (enforcing those laws too).
My government I’ve noticed more and more
is doing things I don’t want it to do.
Our basic freedoms mean the most to me.
I can’t believe things government today
is doing! Propaganda I can see
when folks like me are not allowed to say
the things that go against those in control.
The rights my Constitution gave to all
I want to see protected. I extol
our representatives who do not fall
for bribery or govern out of greed.
Liberty and justice I want and need.
