What fragrance wafts from lovely tune
closing my eyes, sweet memories
of your rich, dulcet melodies -
pleasing my ears.
What fragrance wafts from yonder room
where two distinct arcs intertwine
where your gaze first attracted mine -
pleasing my eyes.
What fragrance wafts from yonder glen
where lavender or jasmine grows
young love on springtime zephyr blows -
pleasing my mind.
What fragrance wafts from yonder church
one soul is crafted out of two
profound the promise of "I do" -
pleasing my heart.
What fragrance wafts from clothes you wore
the scent you left now brings relief
and joyful tears mingled with grief -
please linger still,
please linger still.
