What Are We Raising

Are we raising sheep, Instead of people, Monsters, Instead of children? Are we raising Red, Or white flags. Crops, Or Dust Bowls? Are we raising doubt, To meet lowered expectations, Drugs, To cloud the issues? Are we raising our voices In a good cause Walking, In the right path? Are we raising the bar Up to the clouds, Putting the gun, Up on the shelf, Are we raising hope, That is not false, Questions, That we want answered? Are we raising objections, For the sake of the truth, Worlds that are not real, For the sake of our insanity?
