What I'M Thankful For This Season

Though thankful every day we need to be, ‘tis the season now that hearts grow fonder. Folks are taking extra time to ponder things beloved like home and family. But in this year, I’ve been distracted by a drug I wish I’d never been prescribed. Its rare effects I’d never heard described, and from this drug I now detoxify. For recently I found a doctor who has better thinking than my docs before. They’ve made me feel so sick. I’m thankful for the fact I now might make my health renew! Nov. 24, 2018 for Tania Kitchin's Thankful Poetry Contest

Andrea, doctors like to give us drugs that are just not right and make us suffer even more than our original condition, been there, did that, hope your health gets better now with your new doctor- great thankful write for the contest and best of luck ~

I'll have to revisit that one. I can't even know 100% it was the Prolia, but i can't imagine what else could be causing my problems. 7 doctors basically told me they could not figure out what was wrong with me.

I had forgotten what prolia injections were given for until I researched after reading your write. I found that this was the same injections they wanted to give my late wife Vera a few years ago and we told the doc noooooo way! I hope your poem will alert more folks to research this matter and pray you will recover from any damage done - Bob

Oh Andrea I know how you feel. We have to be so careful who we trust with our health. So many horror stories out there. Glad you found someone who knows what he's about. God Bless, JB

Sadly, oncologists are not taught the value of nutrition and they simply put you on all kinds of crappy stuff.

Oh Andrea, so sorry to hear. These doctors can heal or kill us with the wrong meds. I am glad you are finally clearing off them, Have a great day x

That is scary Andrea, we always take our docs advice assuming that they are the experts but it's not always the case. Hope you're better soon. Tom.

You should see the docs in Utah. I've yet to find a really good MD. Thanks, Tom

I know the feeling!! I once had a prescription that I only took for one day (realizing right away something was terribly wrong), and it took me nearly two weeks to recover from that one dose! It is very scary when they prescribe the wrong thing! So glad you have a better doctor now!!!

What we call it is Trumpglyceride, And did never want to be denied; Hard pressed; Poorly dressed, So over and over he lied and lied.
