Exactly as it has been lately. Aren't we glad we can stay home? I enjoy those two or three days of warmth before the next howling wind appears. I enjoyed reading this one because it seems I am there. Your visit to my page was encouraging. Sara

I enjoyed your "weather forecast", Debra. I'm tempted to offer you a job with "Weather Channel" :) Hopefully your chilly days will soon become a thing of the past. Time to play "Aquarius (Let the Sunshine in)". // paul

Hi Paul, I'm glad you enjoyed the poem. I had a good time writing it. But I guess I'll just stick to staring out my rear window to predict the weather. I'll leave the actual predicting to the experts. Keep warm ~ Debra

Very good effort in writing a series of Haikus on the weather forecast on winter storm...I enjoyed reading sweet friend...We rarely experience extreme winter here in India...How is the situation there now? Stay safe dear...Best wishes and hugs...~ Ani

Hello there, Tom. I'm delighted to speak with you. We're still digging out from the snowstorm, and it's 28 degrees with an overcast. We got about 13 inches of snow, and there was a lot of snow drifting due to the strong wind. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

Good work for bad weather? We had an early December hailstorm, & cars still go around with back windshields pockmarked with machine gun fire. I'd never seen baseball size hail in USA (or anywhere else!) Shalom. PTL

Thank you very much for your comment. During the storm I wrote this poem. It's been in the low 30's. I have snow drifts in my back yard, will be digging out for sometime. I've been unable to post because the internet has been on and off. Keep warm, Blessings ~ Debra

While we were in the midst of the storm, I wrote this. I could sit and stare at the dark clouds outside my window. "Calm before the storm," as the phrase goes. Thank you for your comment. Blessings ~ Debra
