my goodness we had good times
even when spent fretting in waiting rooms
not always getting the news we hoped for
we were together and felt we could face anything
yes they were all good times
when I could hold your hand
and promise everything would be alright
even if we didn't believe it
we were together and felt we could face anything
you and i we were a team
we stood together to face what life threw at us
no matter what ~ no matter what
we were together and felt we could face anything
