Perhaps I will. I did read East of Eden. That was an undertaking. My sis passed it to my Dad and to me.

I am nearly shocked! YOU never read 1984?! ... And I thought you were 'edumacated,' Kim. lol. Read it now. Really. It's quite a read. And in 2023, you can see how totally predictive it was (written in 1948). :) gw

There is a lot of regulated war, which is now a commodity. I'm surprised war isn't on the stock exchange.

Great point, Hilda. Yet war is on the stock exchange in a way: Lockheed Martin, Northrop, Rockwell, etc. -- all defense contractors sold publicly on the NYSE, and doing quite well, I may add. :) gw
