We Forbid Him To See Her
She was the kind of woman Sammy had avoided all of his life
His mother and his father had warned him about her.
She was the quintessential girl next door, wholesome and true.
He ran from her as hard and as fast as he could, went to the city.
Found other women, but they never compared to her.
He finally returned to his roots, and to his first love.
It was the best decision she had ever made.
“I told you he would want the forbidden one,” His mother told his father.
They both wanted to take credit for the love match.
