We Destroy the Earth

Humans dump our garbage into the sea Not caring that many creatures it kills It’s totally thoughtless if you ask me We destroy the rain forest with our skill, And pollute the air with cars exhaust pipe Doth destruction give us some kind of thrill? Give notorious wrongs all kinds of hype. We destroy habitats from west to east, So truthfully, how can we humans gripe? Start forests and burn out thousands of beasts. We strip the land of nutrients galore. What will happen when we have no feasts? Contest: While Mother Earth Gently Moans PC, sponsor: D.W. Rodgers Terza Rima Feb 28 2021
