We Choose To Get Lost Draft

We choose to get lost with another soul And don't consider the logic or goal Forget all about the risk and danger and cost With another soul we choose to get lost To be lost alone is the empty fate Taking all that time to sit and wait Never feeling ever truly known Is the empty fate to be lost alone We take the path with limited thought That you may turn back is rarely taught Forced to press on with the aftermath With limited thought we take the path We choose to get lost with another soul Lost in world of hands held and hearts whole Crossing the lines to be star crossed With another soul we choose to get lost

I enjoyed the repetition of the lines (worded differently) - they stich the whole together. The message is thought provoking, especially the line: 'That you may turn back is rarely taught;. Well penned, DD :)
