We All Have To Age
i use to think getting old was somekinda joke
but now i really envy the older folks
to have lived so long and grown so wise
lord knows i've seen things thru these old eyes
i notice that i ache just a little bit more'
and have wrinkles in places i never had before
for some reason i dont move as fast as i use to
and there are so many things i;ve done that i can no longer do
i remember in my younger days when i went on and on
i cant go as long but my endurance is still strong
my hearing is a little weaker and my vision a little poorer
have to check my prostate cause my blatter seems a little fuller
all and all i can look back and just laugh
cause in my life there;s not alot of could have or should have
so far it's been a good life perhaps made some mistakes
ive traveled darks valley but held on to my faith
good and bad days we have all had some
so im well prepared for what is to come
ive knocked out stage one, stage two is going great
so bring on stage three for i await my fate
