Waves Washing
The tears flow like a river, the pain runs deep
I have been caught in these ravines before
I have climbed my way out then, somehow
Confusion whirls, the head is not clear
Nor are the skies yet today
I am hoping the ocean will bring clarity
Answers sought, as I am on my way
Waves have a way of washing the shore,
The body and the mind
Soft mist upon the rocks, touching my skin
Smaller rocks to hold onto, security in a way
--- As life is turbulent today ---
