Waves

The rain are falling Thunder storm tonight He looks in the distance He don,t see any light Today was a big catch but a lot further out at sea He’s going to get her a ring And get down on his knee And he loves her She is his world Her friends called her A fisher man’s girl And the waves today Was a little more tough And the storm’s coming The water’s a little rough In comes the darkness And cover the light He thinks about her Knows she will worry tonight She close the windows Stands with a cup of tea She can’t call him He’s out at sea It’s very late And he’s still not here She starts to worry But it soon turns to fear Its early morning She runs to the bay No sign of him She waits in dismay She feels so lonely OMG please don’t let it be Will do anything Please bring him back to me And the waves today Was a little more tough And the waters Was a little more rough But under the blue skies Comes a tropical wind His boat been battered But slowly sailing in She’s home crying Wondering what to do Hey family around An uncle from New York too Her father tells her You got to leave this place To many memories That can’t be replace She prayed one more time For a miracle today His boat sails in To the docks on the bay He rushes thru the door She can’t believe her eyes She fell in his arms And they hug and cries He’s done with the sea Will not leave her side Gets down on his knees Will you be my bride? A happy ending A touching romance Two beautiful children A second chance
