Waterfall
As the water flows through the rocks,
bouncing from edge to edge,
lights dance in the pools,
we dance the dance of a lifetime.
We added many things
to this waterfall we're building,
only to discared and recollect
old yesterdays left behind.
I found a few frogs
or maybe they found me,
they seem to show-off my ugly flaws.
Then some turtles wandered in,
just where they fit in,
we may never know for sure.
I hope the water never ceases to flow;
and like the love in our hearts,
I hope the water will
forever flow.
