Water From Your Well

Deep at the bottom of the well The bucket is lowered Moving the crank downward With a hope to reach your soul I can feel the bottom of the bucket Touching your waters edge Into the water my bucket must go Entering the deepest part of your soul Moving the crank Up and down into the well Gathering more water To quench my thirst There is a fire within my soul For these flames to be put out The faster I must go Dipping my bucket into the well Needing your water to put this raging fire out As the flames die down and the water-cools I take the bucket from the well Calmness I feel at your waters edge This fire has been put out
