War Stole My Brother

War Stole My Brother Written: by Tom Wright 1/24/2016 Four tours served in Vietnam Was wounded, but returned, Was it the hidden scars of war That took him from us? From my perspective, death came thirty years Prior to his physical demise, Nonetheless, I still struggle with closure. Life, unlike golf, allows no Mulligan’s Man can’t un-see, un-smell, un-hear, And many times--Can’t forget. A hero that is forgotten, Becomes the greatest casualty of war. Tom

I'm so sorry. There were a lot of our boys that died over there and only a walking body came home. God bless his memory and his service.
