Wandering

Wandering Over time I lay awake Wondering the purpose of it all The struggle to survive And the reason to go on Why we are born And why our choice is not engaged in such decisions If life ever gets cumbersome; why can't we sleep away There are questions But few answers I wanted to be happy all the time But circumstances were not prevailing to ensure a continous foray of glad tidings I wanted to dance But my body was frail I wanted to sing And my voice were mute What is the sweetest story you ever heard That didn't shake or make you I've wondered what genuine happiness is But it seemed distant on a continous basis How do I know my story will end well But what if ending well was not our purpose I've tried to gain understanding I've tried to gain knowledge Wisdom is profitable But even the wise is met with his own fatalities Please bring me a cup of wine Distill it with vinegar and grape fruits I know my path is hard But I believe I'll smile in the end
