Walking Toward Peace

I walked away not free from snags caused by those in authority, but to be free from cruelty to save my spirit against evilness  And injustice in power's grip Tied up by abusive six sprawling  division in command, footsteps no trace, only an echo weeping soul in the dusk! Harsh words dug deeper into my soul— sickening insults to my inner self— a burden carried within the shadowed kingdom. So I just walked away, to protect what is left in me: my spirit, which no man can ban from entering the paradise of sovereignty. Walked away for peace!

Even Jesus walked away when things got too hot. No shame in it. Inner peace more important. Lovely write dear Rowena

You're absolutely right—sometimes walking away is the wisest and most peaceful path. Protecting our spirit isn't weakness; it's wisdom. Grateful for your kindness.

Some people seem to be a kind of person who delights in sticking a knife into our personal being being or spirit and turning it. It is best to walk away and never go back. They are very good at being who they are and most don't change. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Sara K

Absolutely, Sara. Some people thrive on causing pain, and the strongest thing we can do is remove ourselves from their reach. Protecting our peace sometimes means walking away for good. Thank you for your thoughtful reflection.

We must never allow the slight of another to penetrate our very being. Accept it as a natural component of living. Preventing the impurity in our souls is precisely what is required. Your Poem is lovely; it's therapeutic.

Thanks so much- And you're right, we can’t let other people’s negativity sink into us. Life’s full of ups and downs, but protecting our peace is key. I’m really glad the poem gave you a bit of comfort—that’s exactly what I hoped it would do.

From a world of bickerings and cruelty, walk away to find peace in the inner sanctity of one's being. When one is liberated from the presence of people who slander and insult, she/he feels calm and peaceful. Never let others' insult sink deep into our spirit. See that it is part of life. What's needed is to keep our soul from being contaminated. Beautiful poem, so very cathartic !
