Walking the Tightrope

Is your child a teen-ager? Do you walk the tightrope too? How to best reach him? Should we be firm? Stand our ground? Or do we give in this time? Let him win this round? Do we give him the keys to the car? If we say no, will that start a war? Do we let him stay out late tonight? Will a curfew trigger a fight? And what goes on in that locked room of his? Aren't we entitled to more than "None of your biz?" Our parents warned us about 'those teen-age years' We didn't listen to them ~ Now our teen-ager's inherited our ears

They sure do! They pick up all the subtle and not-so-subtle messages and signals we send, just like we once did. Thanks for checking in, Michelle! Best wishes, Gershon

Haha , you give up in the end because it just leads to stress and grey hair. Tom
