Walking Blues

I lost the bounce I lost the o’ one two bounce in my step and stride when she told me to go when she told me I had to go and I can’t dance I can’t dance no mo’ the tired swagger holds me down like I’ve never been down before ‘cause she told me to go ‘cause she told me I had to go she told me to go (so I) slumber and sag my head low and I can’t sing no mo’ ‘cause I had to go ‘cause she told me to go I lost the bounce I lost the o’ one two bounce when I left her that day I lost the bounce I lost the o’ one two bounce when she told me to go.
