Walk As Children of Light -Ye Were Darkness

I
Walk
We learn with many a fall
Walk
With Jesus, ye heard the call
Amos said (3:3) "Can TWO
WALK
TOGETHER
Unless they be agreed?"

II
When biblical pastors urge fellow-saints
To grow in their Christian Walk
That is essential, as Paul taught the Ephesians
Otherwise we have empty talk

III
Two scriptures & John 3 :16 are a great START -

I share, humbly, if u wish to enjoy power & peace
1. Read Ephesians chapter 2 for our inheritance
5. Read Ephesians chapter 5 for changes we make ("be drunk with the Spirit of God, not wine," 5:18 & mens' LOVE walk (verses 32-33)

These scriptures will unleash the Promised Power & Peace.
THE DETAILS ARE IN CHAPTERS 1 & 2, and Ephesians 5:8 gives me the Title, above:" For ye were sometimes darkness, but now ye are light in the LORD: walk as children of light." (2016: KJV, Thomas Nelson)

Joe D., Caren K., and Jenn P., thank you all immensely. Now, had I known our dear Jennifer Proxenos earned a Doctoral Degree, I would have included that great milestone in my poem. But how humble she is to give generous comments to us when she has the highest degree in academia (PhD: Doctor of Philosophy in .... New Testament)

Most of us are guilty of not reading the Bible, and in actual fact the Old Testament are stories that simplified could show children that history and religion are very closely knit. I did my thesis on the Spirituality of the New Testament, but I do love the Old Testament my friend. Blessings, Eireene, Shalom and Peace. Jennifer.

So true...we learn from one another -- lifted by a brother or sister when needed, for often we tire and become vulnerable. Many ministers fail because they take powers and accolades as self-property. We must remain humble, despite all temptation, never forgetting to realize that each of us serves, in his or her simple capacity, not one greater than his other. Pertinent, humbling reminder. Thank you.

What a pity so few read the Bible, especially the gospels. We need proper inspiration and that can only come from the Holy Scriptures.

I'm finally fortunate these years of ministry; it's hard to skip a day. I also have a spouse to help Amen. Yes, victor, without Bible. We may as well be New Age/ S. McClain

You have come to visit BJ, thanX ever so much. There is currently bad teaching about the Hoky Spirit almost as Genie from magician "apostles" ( self-proclained". But I saved the cannon for later, so help me Jesus. Shalom shalom day!
