Waiting For News
When you’re sitting and waiting for news
You must learn to observe certain cues
Or be seen as a pest
When each update request
May precipitate blowing a fuse.
Though your reason for hoping to share
In new knowledge is just that you care,
Still, as time passes by,
You start wondering why
You are out of the loop, unaware.
Sometimes waiting won’t give you a break,
Causing thoughts that you simply can’t shake,
But just try to distract
For it’s best not to act
Or you’ll find you have made a mistake.
